Wholesale Rice Varieties and Export
Since 1978, Toprak Bakliyat has processed rice at its facilities in Mersin, supplying it wholesale across Türkiye and exporting to more than 40 countries. Our rice group ranges from long-grain pilaf varieties to broken rice for soups and stuffing — 8 distinct products, each classified separately by grain size, translucency and cooking performance.
Quality and Food Safety
All of our rice products are prepared under the ISO 22000 food safety standard, passing through optical sorting and sieving lines. Stones, husks and discoloured grains are removed, and moisture content is measured regularly so the product stays fresh throughout its shelf life. Our packaged rice reaches tables safely in light- and moisture-proof packaging.
Packaging and Wholesale Options
We supply our rice varieties in a range of formats, from retail-ready consumer packs to 25 kg and 50 kg sacks and 1000 kg big-bags. For wholesale rice orders we offer buyer-specific private labelling and customer-branded packaging solutions. Thanks to our location close to the Port of Mersin, container shipments are planned quickly and reliably.
How Should Rice Be Stored?
Rice retains its nutritional value for a long time when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, it is best kept in a sealed container. Frequently Asked Questions
The minimum order quantity varies by product and packaging type; for sacked products we usually work on a pallet basis and for exports on a container basis. When you fill in the quote form, we send you the exact quantity and pricing per variety.
Rice varieties differ by grain size, translucency and cooking behaviour: long, large-grain types are preferred for grain-separate pilaf, while broken rice is chosen for soups, stuffing and milk-based desserts. The use of each variety is noted on our product pages.
Our rice products are sold in consumer packs, 25 kg and 50 kg sacks, and 1000 kg big-bags. For buyers who request it, we also offer private-label packaging under their own brand.
We export our pulses and grains, including rice, to more than 40 countries, chiefly in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia. Shipments are made on a container basis via the Port of Mersin, with buyer-specific labelling and documentation.
